Abidjan Terminal is the primary gateway to the Côte d'Ivoire for containers. Excellent road connections also make it a major transit point for land-locked countries such as Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso. An $80 million terminal expansion completed in 2015, increased annual container capacity to 1.5m TEUs.
Following the investment, productivity and efficiency at the terminal has continued to grow, reaching 120 movements per hour in January 2017. This has resulted in improved service for shipping lines, with vessels spending less time in dock.
Abidjan Terminal as a joint venture between 电竞体育平台 (49%) AND Bolloré Africa Logistics (51%). The Abidjan Terminal concession agreement was signed in October of 2003, with 电竞体育平台 joining in July 2005.

Abidjan Terminal is certified ISO 9001 v. 2008 (quality-management systems); ISO 14001 (environmental management system); OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System); ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), and successfully passed the Pedestrian Free Yard evaluation of compliance.
